I leave for Salzburg in less than a week, so I guess it's time I explore the blogosphere and practice vicarious-post writing. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot to say that is Salzburg-related as I am in Spokane, eating Double Rainbow ice cream (you are vicariously becoming fat).
I'm almost all packed, passport copies are everywhere, my netflix movie suggestions are all 'German dramas based on real life' or 'German films featuring a strong female lead'--literally everything around me reflects where I'll be in 5 days, but it still hasn't registered that soon I'll be waking up in Österreich. It's funny, people wake up in Austria everyday. Imagine that.
I could ramble on about my thoughts on budgeting, drinking, school, travel, friends, etc., but I'll just wait until it's not completely speculative and has some anecdotal support.
In other Lester foreign affairs news, Zach is not in a Guadelajarian prison despite some desperate phone calls to our grandparents. It is unfortunate, though, because when the day comes that Zach is in trouble with Guadelajara authorities (and the day will come), nobody will respond to his authentic pleas for help. C'est la vie, when you're Zach Lester--just a day in the life.
Hey Megan, Maggie turned me on to your blog. Can't wait to vicariously experience Österreich (are you impressed I could do the umlout?...can't spell it though!) Hope you have a great time! When you get too cold, you've got a room in Southern Spain. ;)
